Show runs 17 September - 4 October

This exhibition brings the work together of artists Julian Dashper, Simon Ingram, and for the first time in New Zealand, Sydney based Salvatore Panatteri.

The show features nine works, three from each artist, whose production in the case of Dashper is 7 years apart, in the case of Ingram 6 six years and in the case of Panatteri, 5 years apart.

The show addresses the notion of artists having a project in their work over an extended period of time, one that takes in information and stimuli from its broader context, but one which also remains close, authentic even, to its own internal, complex and relatively autonomous modes of (self) production.

These three artist share an interest in a sustained and focused approach to a set of methods and ideas that has allowed their practice to develop in ways not predicated on changing fashions.

The three artists invite you to join them in conversation at 5 pm on Wednesday 17th October in the gallery.
